This Sunday, September 22, our adult drop-in sessions will begin again from 10:05 – 10:55. The class will meet in Room 109 unless otherwise noted in the newsletter or in the announcements. I’ve included the scheduled discussions below, but all the information can also be found here. Many of the sessions will cover our principles and how we engage with them in our lives.

Chalice Circles
There is also a desire among members for Chalice Circles, which are focused learning groups with session plans provided by staff. These closed circles of 8-12 people meet 6-8 times and then continue with new material, open to new members if there is space, or dissolve and move on to other opportunities. One of our chalice circles, Undoing Racism, is already forming and there are only 3 spots left in that one! You can complete the group by registering here!
Finally, we have other Chalice Circle ideas, but need adult facilitators for them to happen. Are you interested in leading a group? Have an idea for subject material? Please let me know and we can talk about the process of getting it started.
Acorn Groups
In addition, we are introducing a new small group called ‘Acorn Groups.’ These groups are intended for those who have been members of Live Oak for less than one year. They are a chance for you to get to know us better and for us to get to know you better. To sign up for an Acorn Group, please click here.
I hope you all will find a way to enrich your connections and grow together this year with faith development programming. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
See you on Sunday!
