As Rev. Joanna spoke about on Sunday, we are encouraging everyone to walk this second marathon. Faith Development programming will look more like a stroll this fall as we gather more teachers, get more comfortable with coming in person, and learn how to have class outdoors with all the distractions that involves. Here is what is coming this Sunday and what to expect during October. To read more about any of the offerings, please browse the Learning pages on this website.

Online Faith Development for families to use at home is available at the beginning of each month. You can access these offerings HERE.

In-Person Class Groupings: Because of numbers and volunteer status, we are shifting our class groupings this fall. They are as follows:

PreK: 3-5 yrs
Elementary: K-4th
Young Youth (aka Middle School Youth): 5th – 7th
Senior Youth: 8th – 12th

Just a reminder that all classes are outdoors until further notice. Everyone should wear a mask, bring a chair and water bottle, and head to their assigned areas by 10:30 AM. There is no nursery care at this time.

Calendar for October:

10/3 – All-Ages Ritual of Letting Go

We are kicking off the Faith Development year with a ritual for everyone to participate in that encourages us to let go of a little of the hurt and anger that we are carrying. Bring safety goggles if you have them.
Families should participate together for this ritual, as we won’t have ‘teachers’ on the schedule this week. Gather at 10:30 near Common Ground for this faith development session!

10/10 – Faith Development Classes

PreK: Gather with Ms. Harmoni on the Playground

Elementary: Circle of Trees meets in the trees near Common Ground

Young Youth: Community Building and Welcome, meet near chalice pathway

Senior Youth: Community Building and Welcome, meet under tree near our electronic sign. Look for the blanket and chalice

Adults: 2nd Sunday Social Justice Learning, meet around accessible picnic table

10/17 – Faith Development Classes
