In our three elementary classes we will be focusing on our third principle – learning together, developing acceptance of others who are different from ourselves and encouraging faith and spiritual development. The three classes will be rotating through lessons in World Religious symbols (with a religious symbols bingo game; the cultural holiday of Chinese New Year with a focus on family and being kind and discussing wishes versus resolutions and how UU’s resolve to develop their helping hands; through the teachings of Sophia Lyons Fahs, mother of UU Religious Education, identify their own experiences of spirituality, learning, and spiritual growth.
