
Here’s what you need to know!
Elementary age continue a two-month unit, “Who’s Who in UU?” focusing on black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) Unitarian Universalists. Middle and High School are invited to bring in music that reflects the society they want to live in or highlights the issues they see in society that go against our values as UUs.
Adults continue the five-week series called “The Corruption of Our Democracy.” If you missed our opening session or session two, but want to join us for session three, you can catch up by watching the video, “Legalize Democracy,” and reading the preparatory handouts for sessions two and three. An additional documentary resource was suggested in Sunday’s session, called “The Corporation.” Follow this blogpost on the website and in the newsletter for what happened each week so you can stay up to date if you miss out.
OWL for 4th and 5th grades ONLY will be offered on Sunday mornings from 10 – noon. Class size will be limited and open first to Live Oak members. Due to the potential size of this class, we are not opening it up to the community. If you haven’t already indicated your interest, please complete the interest form, and mark the following class dates on your calendar.
