Summer is officially here at Live Oak! We have had our Flower Ceremony and in a normal year we would be starting our summer programming for adults and children. No one has offered to help with summer programming for adults, so at this time there are not any faith development offerings other than already existing gatherings.

Our online Nursery/Prek children’s chapel restarts this Sunday at 9:15 am with Ms. Harmoni. Children up through age 7 are invited to join her for a 30-minute chapel before our regular worship begins.

8th and 9th graders already enrolled in Taking Flight Sexuality Education class will continue to meet over the summer on all Sundays except July 4.

All other ages are encouraged to participate in worship services in the chat, and if you didn’t pick up an adventure journal last Sunday, watch for it in the mail sometime this week. Complete your journal, have your parents submit the form, and receive a sweet treat!

Finally, I invite you to begin thinking about how you can support programming when we come back together in September. What a gift to have an abundance of classroom volunteers for all ages as we start up.

Adult Faith Development

Chalice Circles open for registration in September and begin meeting in October. Mark your calendar.
