This Sunday, December 5, we return to worship inside at 9:30 and 11:30 AM. Faith Development hour is at 10:30 AM.
PreK/Nursery News
Our PreKinder and the nursery indoor spaces will open in January, including the option for children’s chapel for ages 3-5 during worship! The nursery will be available for families to use (unstaffed during January) with the ability to project the livestream of worship in the space. We ask that only families with nursery age children utilize this space and make their own decision about risks. There will be a sign-in sheet and symptom check in place.
For the month of December, families wishing to attend worship with children who are unable to mask are invited to use our comfort rooms at the back of the sanctuary if they are more comfortable with that option. (One family unit per room). All those who are old enough to mask are required to do so inside the building(s).

In-Person Classes: Because of numbers and volunteer status, we have shifted our class groupings this fall. Each Sunday is dependent on volunteer involvement. Please check our homepage and facebook for any last minute updates to scheduling.
12/5 – Faith Development Classes
PreK (3-5): Gather with Ms. Harmoni on the Playground (dress for the weather)
Senior Youth (8th-12th): Abortion Rights Messaging. Youth will meet in the library and must wear a mask.
All other ages (5 – Adults): Movement as Spiritual Practice. Meet in Common Ground and wear a mask as we explore movement as spiritual practice. We will do some QiGong together and focus on our bodies and breath.
12/12 – No Classes
Join us for ONE SERVICE at 9:30 AM. It is our annual all-ages pageant worship service followed by the congregational meeting.
12/19 – Faith Development Classes
All Ages: Winter Crafts. Move from table to table in the Fellowship Hall and create together.
Adults: 3rd Sunday: Living Your Values – The Collective Good. This workshop will introduce utilitarian ethics and examine some of the complexities inherent in a utilitarian ethical framework.
12/26 – No Faith Development Classes. Worship ONLINE only
Online Faith Development for families to use at home is available at the beginning of each month. Family Chapel is the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Next Family Chapel is 12/2 (https://link.liveoakuu.org/Family-Chapel) December’s Family Focus post is now live.
