Usually, in December, we have flyers about all the events happening at Live Oak in December. Things are, of course, different this year. Everything is online, but we still have the traditions you love.
Tonight (Thursday) is our Blue Christmas service at 6:00 pm. We do this service every year, to make space for any sadness we’re carrying. It has taken on new meaning this year, with the sacrifices necessary to ensure the safety of our loved ones.
This Sunday is our yearly All Ages Holiday service, directed by Carrie Krause, and featuring so many of our Live Oak families. It’s sure to put a smile on your face and get you in the spirit of all the December holidays.
The Sunday before Christmas has us returning again the time of England during World War II, with “Happy Blitzmas,” with songs and videos of Live Oak members.
And then on Thursday, December 24, we will be holding our traditional Christmas Eve service at 6 pm, with beloved hymns, stories both traditional and new, and a special candlelighting ritual.
Links to all of these events can be found on our What’s Happening at Live Oak page.
